Bali Kintamani

Clean, Allspice, Forest Floor, Citrus

$17.00

Clear

This full-washed Bali Kintamani is surprisingly bright and clean; it still showcases earthy and forest-like qualities but does not have a funky or muddy tinge like most coffees from Indonesia. We find a pop of citrus up front followed by earthiness and spices wrapped up in a medium-plus body. If you are a fan of our Sumatra Royal Badger, Avalanche or Black Magic be sure to give this a try!

From our friends at Opal Coffee (importers)-

“Kintamani Highlands farmers originally grew citrus as their main crop, but over time began intercropping coffee among the citrus trees to maximise land productivity. The shared fertilisation between both crops helped coffee thrive, and it gradually became a primary source of income supporting the livelihoods of farmers across the region.

Producer Hari processes raw coffee cherries directly from local farmers into specialty, export-ready coffee. Central to the quality is a carefully controlled fermentation process, which shapes the coffee’s distinct flavour profile and cup character.”
