A wonderful, naturally processed coffee from the eastern slopes of the Baru Volcano in Panama, sourced by our friends at Red Goni.
The Natural process is one in which the fruit stays on the coffee while it’s drying; the beans are then hulled and sorted prior to shipping. This process imparts a slightly heavier body and a more rounded mouthfeel than does the traditional washed method. Some of the high notes are muted as a result but the overall taste sensation is delicious, in my humble opinion. Give it a try.

All the farm operations are carried out with environmental consciousness and deep desire to preserve the unique and exotic biodiversity of the whole area. Please visit when you have a chance!

I actually found this coffee to have a delightful fruity aroma when I ground it, however, that disappears in the cup and what replaces it is a silky smooth finish.

Smooth and soft, so far my absolute favorite for hot brewed coffee.
