Finca La Perla is a gem of a coffee. The farm has reached the finals of the Cup of Excellence 6 times, taking 2nd place in 2002. Smoky and spicy with green apple notes and flowery acidity. Lovely, silky body and texture.

Awesome combo of fruity and smoky. Medium rich, can be a bit much on a fine grind. Blends beautifully. love the breakfast blend, and this is right in line, but a fair bit bolder. Sometimes I’ll cut my Guatemala with with 20-30% of the Mexican Oaxaca or the Aged Sumatra to cut some of the acidity.

La Perla is an excellent bean coffee. I mix it with a 50/50 blend of its decaf bean for an exciting morning and afternoon cup for the past several years. Two of my favorite times of the day!
