The government-owned Jampit Estate is located on the Ljen Plateau in East Java. It’s a beautiful place with lush foliage, waterfalls and is home to the world’s largest acidic lake, the Ljen Crater Lake. Their coffee process is anaerobic fermentation followed by washing but still leaving some fruit on the bean. The coffee is then moved to patios and then raised beds for drying and sorting. The resulting coffee has a spicy, full body and moderate acidity.
